Senior Product Designer with a focus on UX strategy and prototyping.
Teams I've worked with
End the debate.
Designing for banter between football gamers
Mobile App (iOS & Android)2023 – Ongoing
Kickd started as an idea that arose during the FIFA binges at university and stuck with me since. When the match ends and the result screen is skipped, all you have left is he-said-she-said — so I wanted a shared source of truth. The score is captured by camera or manually, then confirmed by your opponent. To keep the banter going, social features like emoji reactions and GIFs sit on top of any result. Rebuilding onboarding took first-run completion from half of testers failing to most of them finishing.

Myself (Design)
David (Tech)
Talal (Ops)
Outcome
Out on iOS and Android in open beta, with around half of logged results now carrying a reaction. An AI-native setup — Claude wired to Supabase, Mixpanel and Granola over MCP — keeps usage data beside the workflow.
Bringing structure to Pakistan's informal creator economy
Mobile App (iOS & Android)2025 – Ongoing
I joined this project at the idea stage to answer one question: would creators, used to an informal, cash-based economy, trust a platform with money they're already owed? I defined the UX strategy and prototyped the entire product flow in Lovable before guiding a junior designer through the high-fidelity work. I also helped shape the initial team with the founder.

Outcome
In closed beta, with the brand side now in prototype and an experimental team setup proven along the way.
Most air purifiers in Pakistan are ugly plastic boxes people hide in cupboards — so I designed one worth keeping out, physical and digital together. That's a problem when your city has some of the worst air in the world. I'm co-founder of the product studio and lead all things design, including the companion app experience, with hardware and software partners along the way.

Outcome
100 air purifiers are built and ready for pre-order.
Building a design-first culture within a logistics startup
Web2025 – Ongoing
I joined a development-led organisation and introduced a prototype-first way of working. Ideas now get argued out in something merchants, ops and sales can all react to, rather than a spec each side reads differently. Lovable is how I get that in front of them in days, for internal and external tools alike.

Outcome
Merchants, ops and sales settle their disagreements on a working prototype, so fewer features get rebuilt.
I've had a non-linear career, and not everything made sense as a case study — but all of it contributed to the designer I am today. Happy to elaborate further on a call.
About me
I've been working across the design industry for over 10 years. I do my best work behind the scenes — product strategy, wireframing, and setting up the fundamental experience of the product. During every project the best part for me is building the right team culture and way of working, so we solve problems the right way. I suspect watching Mikel Arteta implement his process has left an impression on me.
Simplifying things is your superpower. You take complex ideas and streamline them with ease, and that pushes you to put systems in place that can work autonomously.
MominaFounder, Create
You're particularly good at mentoring: clear, actionable feedback that helps designers improve without feeling discouraged. Your decisions connect design work with the bigger product and business goals.
AmeerDesigner, Create
You were always mindful of pulling the team out of pixel pushing. Taking a step back and thinking of the product through low-fidelity wireframes and experimentation.
HarisFormer colleague
Salman's expertise in product development ensured that our vision for the sports score app was well-executed. He has a strong grasp of structured processes while keeping the flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs.
UzairCollaborator, Kickd
You're great at grasping complex, abstract ideas and finding the right fit — balancing our requirements with a smooth user experience, and keeping the project on track.
